Transparency in Coverage Rule (TCR) and the Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA)

In response to the Federal Transparency in Coverage Rule (TCR) and Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA), AmeriHealth Administrators has established an enterprise-wide implementation program to ensure all requirements are implemented by the mandated compliance dates. As additional guidance is shared on implementing and complying with these provisions, FAQs will be updated to communicate any new information. This includes information about surprise billing and reporting, continuity of care, mental health and substance abuse parity, provider directories, air ambulance reporting, the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act, MLR, machine‑readable files, and personalized disclosure of out‑of‑pocket (OOP) costs.
