Maintaining a healthy weight is important for good health. People who are carrying extra weight are at an increased risk for many serious diseases and health conditions, including diabetes, heart disease and stroke, some cancers, osteoarthritis, stress, and depression.
These issues can affect an employee’s productivity at work and may lead to greater absenteeism. We encourage you to please consider offering the following programs to your employees to motivate them to reach their personal weight goals.
Reimbursement for a weight management program
Members can get up to $150 back for enrolling in and completing WeightWatchers® (WW), WeightWatchers® Online (WW Online), Noom, or an approved weight management program at an in‑network hospital.
Discounts for staying active
HUSK Marketplace offers discounts on a variety of wellness items, including new gym memberships, virtual studios, on‑demand curated workout videos, gym equipment, and more.
Members can get started by visiting HUSK Marketplace.
Free nutrition counseling
Members have the option of seeing an in‑network registered dietitian1 or a nutrition counselor via HUSK Nutrition, available through the HUSK Marketplace, to access personalized virtual nutrition counseling.2
Weight loss support services
Members also have access to Wondr Health™ (Wondr), a digital behavioral change program that goes beyond diet fads to teach members how to reach a healthy weight and improve their overall health without giving up the foods they love.
To get started with Wondr, employees should visit the enrollment link provided to them.
Wondr is launching a new rewards program to incentivize members to participate in the program. The program will begin upon renewal starting January 1, 2025 at no additional cost.
Newly enrolled or existing members who re-enroll in the program after their initial contract period will be eligible to earn rewards, redeemable for items related to nutrition, activity, and sleep, for participating in and completing lessons each week.
