Seasoned professional to drive sales and consulting in emerging markets
AmeriHealth Administrators (AHA), a national third-party administrator, has announced the addition of Amy Wooden, National Sales Consultant – Emerging Markets, to its Emerging Market Sales team.
Wooden will support AHA in identifying emerging market trends and opportunities. She will also communicate the value of AHA solutions to potential clients and strategic partners across the self-funded industry.
Wooden joins AHA after serving as vice president of Business Development for ASR Health Benefits, a TPA based in Grand Rapids, MI, where she worked for 21 years. She led Sales, Account Management, Compliance, and Operations teams. Wooden’s additional work experience includes provider network contracting for a Michigan-based PPO and a managed care health plan.
Wooden offers an extensive and unique background in self-funded plan administration including sales and product development, provider network management and contracting, stop loss insurance, benefit strategy and design, health care cost management, pharmacy benefits, and TPA operations/compliance.
Wooden holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Public Administration degrees from Grand Valley State University.
